Jackie Attends Beijing Press Conference for Min Sheng
On July 1, Jackie attended a press conference in Beijing, China to publicize the release of the music video for "Min Sheng," a song written to celebrate the 90th anniversary of the founding of the communist party. Also attending the press conference were singer Liu Yuan Yuan, who recorded the song with Jackie, and composer Peter Kam.
In an earlier interview, Jackie told the press that one of his goals in recording the song was to get the Chinese people singing again. He mentioned a previous song he'd recorded which has been one of the most popular songs in China for many years ("Ming Ming Bai Bai").
