Filming PSA for UNICEF

On May 9th UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador Jackie Chan spent the day at an international school in Hong Kong filming a Public Service Announcement aimed at warning children about the dangers of Bird Flu. The PSA, which was sponsored by UNICEF, UN Partners, and the Government of Japan, is intended to educate children about potential hazards they may encounter. The H5N1 avian influenza virus has caused over 100 human deaths since 2003, mostly in Southeast Asia.

Jackie on Forbes Top Ten List of Generous Celebs

Jackie joins celebrities Angelina Jolie, Sandra Bullock, and Nicholas Cage on Forbes' list of the most generous celebrities.  Jackie has been involved in charity work since establishing his Jackie Chan Charitable Foundation in 1988 and has expanded his reach in recent years to include the Dragon's Heart Charity in Asia and a Goodwill Ambassadorship for UNICEF/UNAIDS.  Jackie is well known for his generosity to an endless array of causes.  To read more about his charity work, click here.
