Trip to Philippines; Baby Expo

Jackie braved a typhoon to fly to Manila in the Philippines yesterday (August 4th) for a meeting with Jackie's Java Coffee chain investors. He was greeted at the airport by dozens of airport employees and described his difficult flight, telling them that he was "bouncing and bouncing" for over two hours. While in Manila, he met with representatives from the Philippine National Red Cross, UNAIDS, and World Wildlife Fund.

In other news, Jackie attended a ribbon-cutting at the 14th International Baby/Children Products Expo at the Hong Kong Convention Center in Hong Kong on August 5th.
