Introducing Jackie Chan Design

During the last several months, something very exciting has been taking place in the design world: the creation and launch of a brand new company, Jackie Chan Design. Jackie has always taken an interest in design and while filming he often finds himself designing props or clothing for his productions. He has always had a desire to make daily life a little more comfortable, a little more creative, and a lot more fun. This led to the creation of Jackie Chan Design, a Hong Kong based design house.

Jackie Chan Design is a creative product design company driven by the extraordinary imagination and vision of Jackie Chan. The company is led and run by his partner, Creative Director Geoff Tsui. Jackie Chan Design targets a trendy, design-oriented clientele who appreciate the unique and meaningful essence of its products. In the year 2005, Jackie Chan, Willie Chan, and Geoff Tsui conceived the idea for Jackie Chan Design. Jackie had been envisioning unique designs for better living for years and in Geoff he found a way of bringing these ideas to life. Now when Jackie is inspired he seeks out Geoff and the two brainstorm, shooting off ideas to each other. As soon as their idea is realized in a sketch, concept drawing, or computer image, the design is further refined and developed through a team of specialized designers and engineers. Next comes the sampling and molding stage with modifications made continuously until Jackie and Geoff arrive at a product they’re satisfied with. During the process, the products are quite frequently introduced to Willie Chan and Solon So to ensure that they are tasteful and professionally rendered. From there the products move on to actual production.

Jackie Chan Design produces a wide variety of products including furniture, apparel, printing and packaging, stationery, household accessories, interiors - and even Jackie’s cars. Many of the products draw from the well of Jackie’s amazing life history and incorporate his philosophies and passions. Product lines include: 3doH Collection, Zodiac Project, HOME Collection, JCD Visual Collection, Restless Collection, and JCD Furniture.

To give a hand to talents who are determined in developing a career in the creative industry, Jackie Chan has carried out the “Circle of Design” project, giving them a platform to unlock their potentials. Talented designers, who submitted their creative ideas to Jackie Chan Design, may have a chance in getting sponsorship from Jackie, making dreams come true.
