Jackie in Guangdong

On the evening of November 24th, Jackie was in Guangdong, China celebrating the opening ceremony of the International Tourism and Culture Festival. Although he is presently filming Rush Hour 3 in California, he made a special trip back to China to attend this important event.

Guangdong Province has been a forerunner of China's reform and is the birthplace of Lingnan Culture. Throughout its long history, Lingnan culture has developed into one with diversified and profound elements featuring unique folk customs. The goal of the International tourism Culture Festival and promotion is to encourage tourism, to build a harmonious society, and to bring joy to all people.

Jackie is the China Cultural Ambassador, the Asia-Pacific Tourism Ambassador, and the Hong Kong Tourism Ambassador.
