Charity Mission to Hebei, China
On January 3, Jackie visited Hebei Province in the Xuanhua County of China, braving sub-zero temperatures to deliver USD $480,000 worth of clothing, food, and bottled water to those in need. Jackie greeted the residents and spoke with them about his commitment to helping them in their time of need.
The Jackie Chan Charitable Foundation has already donated USD$64,000 to area residents to help build motor-pumped wells.
Jackie told the media that while his foundation had originally focused on Hong Kong, it has expanded to include Mainland China. He stressed that all money donated to his charities goes directly to those in need.
