On February 18th a very special event will take place in Hong Kong when the World Firefighters Games come to town.  The Games have been described as a mini-Olympics for full-time, volunteer, industrial, and military fire personel and are held every two years.  In May, 2005, Jackie was sworn in as a World Firefighters Games Ambassador at a ceremony on the waterfront in Hong Kong.  In a statement, Jackie expressed his regard for firefighters, calling them the "real heroes" of our society. 

The World Firefighters Games, which have been held since 1990, are intended to promote health and fitness, to provide a forum for information exchange between Fire Services, to foster comradeship among firefighters, and to encourage family participation.  Jackie is very excited to be an Ambassador for such a worthy organization.
