Scrapbook
Austria is a very small country in the heart of Europe, for some only known as the home of the Trap family from The Sound Of Music. Forget this cliche.  There were 3 important events here:
* Jackie filmed the first 20 minutes of Armour of God in Vienna and Graz
* Jackie destroyed our West Train Station for a TV spot of the Austrian Rail company and
* On 30th April MY DEPARTURE TO HONG KONG!
Together with Dagmar from Slovak Republic and Jutta from Germany we started off to our great adventure. Since this was my 3rd trip to Hong Kong I could show off as cool tour guide , knowing the best places where you get cheap but original DVDs, places where movies were filmed and of course yummie restaurants. Despite all the good food I even lost some weight here by exploring the city.
Since we knew that we would get a picture with Jackie we did some attempts with FLAT JACKIE, to check the right posture and mimic.  Here Kitty and Dagmar:

On 2nd May we visited the office in Waterloo Road and finally I could see it from inside (which wasn´t possible at my last visit). To say THANK YOU to Kath and the whole staff in the office we brought some chocolates from our home towns. Hopefully they are not overweight now due to us (haha).
First thing I recognized was that the name tag for the event looked like the Austrian flag, see:

On the Avenues of stars we got in "touch" with Jackie's hands ..Dagmar and Jutta:

Afterwards we visited the peak but Madame Tussaud was closed, so we couldn´t train with Wax Jackie as step 2 before the alive Jackie. We were asked to prepare something to show off our talent, since singing  would scare everyone off, I thought of preparing something I know.

That's traditional karatedo doshinkan. Despite looking more like a sumotori/sumo wrestler (haha) I  have been training this non fighting Martial Arts for over 9 years. I chose  the kata pin´nan sho dan. This kata is several hundred years old and means "peaceful mind." Since there wasn't any space in the hotel room I did a short training on the terrace at the peak. Sadly I wasn´t chosen but I can post now a pic.  Clever am I!

So on 03rd May the big event.

We got up early to prepare everything, got dressed, put on make up and checked if the camera was working for the all most important photo. Jackie was recently 2 times in Germany but due to heavy workload I wasn't able to meet him but THIS TIME I would take my chance. I even needed to promise my travel agent to show her the picture of this event, she was as existed as I am about this event.

Before we entered the event room we were greeted by Jackie on TV screens in our own mother tongue.  Next time I will teach Jackie our Viennese dialect since there are similarities to Cantonese. lets start with

SERVUS =

The time during the event passed by so fast. Most time I watched, listened and in the same time tried to get as many pictures as possible.
So here : Myyy PRECIOUSSS…(can you see the scared rabbit in the pics)

Yes I made it..my final dream came true and even the Rabbit disappeared:

After the event more news, this wasn´t the end!  Yippie!  The tour would go on.

I (as non-smoker) especially liked the non-smoking sign with Jackie. My friend Katja from Munich just stopped smoking and I sent her this picture. She put it immidiately on her office desk to encourage her with her plan.

More Flat-Jackies were around.  Stanley would love it. I tried to steal this one but even the Flat – Jackie knew some Kung Fu.

Already on page four.  Too long. Such long entries we used to get from Willie Chan, allthough he neglected us by not writing any of his great entries lately.  Pleeeeeeeease do more!

We want to say Dankeschoen for this great event.  It was a lifetime experience for us.
