As many of you may remember, Jackie's office in Kowloon was invaded by bugs several months ago. Renovations have been going on; the destroyed wood floor was removed and replaced with white stone. Jackie felt terrible about having to remove the slogans that fans had sent in and he'd had engraved into the floor. (He wrote about it in his online journal.)

Good news, however! This week workers began setting the newly engraved slogans and things are looking nearly complete. Once the panels are all installed, the next step will be to await the results of the Chinese slogan contest. Those slogans will be inscribed and placed when they are ready. Today Jackie helped clean up the mess generated by the work and as is his habit, he took vacuum in hand and tried to get rid of some of the dirt and dust.
