Scrapbook

Last week I went to Venice for La Biennale di Venezia (the Venice Film Festival) and I got a chance to do a little touring around the city. My assistant told me that I should bring my camera and take some photos to share with you since you liked the ones I took of Jonesie and JJ. I'm happy to do this and hope you like my snapshots from Venice! I will save some for my diary, but here are a few that I took while I was there:

There are some amazing houses along the canal. Some are owned by very famous people.

Some scenes along the waterfront:

This is the view from the balcony of our hotel at Lido. I took a few photos in a series and we put them together so you could see the whole view.
Click here to see a little more of the view.

This is my friend Benny Chan, the director.

Fair is fair, so I let Benny take my picture too!

This is the Piazza San Marco (St. Mark's Square). There are no cars allowed here, so people can walk freely. Well, most people can. I had a little trouble with crowds, but if I kept moving it was okay.

St. Mark's Basilica. The murals tell the story of St. Mark's life.

The Bell Tower.

Here is a very narrow alley. At night the lights are so pretty - all are yellow and white.

I hope you like my snapshots! Venice is amazing and although I am not a professional photographer, I hope you like them anyway.
