Jackie and Angels With Wings

On May 28th and 29th, Jackie was in the Yunan Province of China for the opening ceremony of Angels With Wings, a campaign which helps poor children attend school by supplying them with books, clothing, and other necessities. Jackie is the ambassador of the Angels With Wings, a campaign which will take place over the next 6 months. Fund raising efforts will be aimed at the large cities in China with the intention of generating enough money to support needy students in Yunan, Guangxi, and Xingjiang. The initial donation will fund 1,000 students until they finish high school.

The campaign is sponored by China Merchant Bank, Hua Yi Star Film Company, and other enterprises. Jackie is well known for his efforts to improve educational possibilities for the poorest of China's children.
