Jackie To Be Honored by Dance Company

Jackie has often compared his film choreography to dancing and the Hong Kong Dance Alliance agrees. On February 6, 2007 they will honor Jackie with a Lifetime Achievement Award for his achievement in body movement art. The Hong Kong Dance Alliance is a non-profit organization with members from all sectors of the Hong Kong dance community. "Mr. Jackie Chan incorporated diverse body movements into movies, facilitating exchange between martial arts and dance. Everyone can see for themselves the creativity of this unique movie language," said Anna Chan, Chairwoman of the Hong Kong Dance Alliance. She also praised him for his ongoing support of the Hong Kong dance community.
