Jackie to Make Guest Appearance at Asian Fusion Concert

On February 13, 2007 Jackie will make a guest appearance at the Asian Fusion Concert in Las Vegas, Nevada. Jackie will be appearing with other Asian superstars at the Aladdin Casino and Resort. Scheduled to appear:  A-mei, Shin Band, Mayday, Zhang Zhen Yue, and Supergirls™. The concert will coincide with Chinese New Year and will air on television in China.

Information About Chinese Competition

In cooperation with Beijing's BTV, Jackie introduces "Descendants of the Dragon," a TV show which will air in China from March to October. The show will present the ten winners of a competition to find "the next Jackie Chan." These winners will appear in movies which Jackie will produce. The first competition is open only to Chinese because, as Jackie explained in his online diary, "the script is already complete, the filming will take place in China, and the character will have to speak Chinese." He reassures his fans that upcoming competitions will be open to non-Asians as well, but that this first competition requires the winner to be Chinese because the character in the already-completed script is Chinese.

Rob-B-Hood Nominated for Hong Kong Film Awards

The JC Stunt Team, Jackie, and Nicky Lee have been nominated for the "Best Action Choreography" for their work in the Hong Kong action-comedy Rob-B-Hood. Congratulations also to baby Matthew Medvedev for his nomination as "Best New Performer" (Rob-B-Hood).
