Intellectual Property in Hong Kong

An exhibition of artwork, designs, fashion items, and films from Hong Kong was inaugurated on September 24th at the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO), coinciding with the opening day of the annual session of the WIPO Assemblies.  The exhibition, "HK Creativity – Intellectual Property in Hong Kong, China," has been organized jointly by WIPO and the Government of the People’s Republic of China, in cooperation with the Government of the Hong Kong SAR.

Jackie, who has always been an active voice in the need for intellectual property protection (you may know it as "anti-piracy") could not attend, but provided a video statement. You can watch Jackie's video statement (in Chinese with English subtitles) speech on the World Intellectual Property Organization's website here.

The exhibition runs until October 12.

Jackie Featured in World's Largest Caricature

Last week, 23 year-old Singapore artist Peter Zhuo created what he hopes is the world's largest caricature to celebrate Children's Day and inspire children around the world. Whose portrait did he draw? Jackie Chan's!
