Jackie Visits Children's Hospital in Singapore

Jackie was in Singapore on March 6th to pay a visit to the young cancer patients at the Viva University Cancer Centre of the National University Hopital. Although Jackie lost his own father to cancer only last week, he felt it essential to keep his promise and visit the children. Hospital staff said that Jackie's visit several months ago had raised spirits tremendously and they were looking forward to his return.

Jackie, who is the Ambassador of Goodwill for the hospital's children's cancer center, demonstrated some kung fu moves, signed autographs, and visited children in their rooms. He delivered goodie bags to all the children. Later Jackie said, "I see young children suffering, with their hair falling out because of chemotherapy. It breaks my heart, and it does remind me of my father. So naturally I have to help them."
