The Forbidden Kingdom Promotion Begins

Cast and crew of The Forbidden Kingdom were in Hong Kong on the afternoon of March 17th for the first of what will be many promotional appearances throughout the world. Jackie joined with Jet Li and sat for several interviews with local press at the Harbour Plaza in Hong Kong. Crystal Liu, Li Bing Bing, and director Rob Minkoff were also at the hotel, although they were interviewed seperately from Jackie and Jet.

During the interviews, Jackie and Jet talked and joked with each other, picking up where they left off after filming ended last August. One thing they mentioned repeatedly was how easy it was to work with each other and they said they felt as though they'd been working together for many years. Because they were both trained in martial arts and both are filmmakers, they were able to naturally connect with one another for filming, especially the fight scenes.

Promotion for the movie will continue until The Forbidden Kingdom opens on April 18th.
