Happy Birthday Jackie and Other News
Happy Birthday to Jackie! Today Jackie turns 54 years old and we all wish him a wonderful birthday.
Jackie has been quite busy these past few days recording the MV for "We Are Ready" in Badaling, China, attending the official launch of Coca Cola Original Leaf Tea drink in Shanghai, and officiating at the opening of an Operation Smile hospital in Hangzhou.
On April 5th, Jackie was joined by his son Jaycee to launch a brand new product, Coca Cola Original Leaf Tea drink. Jackie and Jaycee took the stage together for the first time and they charmed audience members and press with their warm and affectionate interplay. Jaycee complimented his father on managing such a busy schedule and Jackie voiced his support for his hard-working son. Jackie also talked about his pleasure at being able to spend so much time with his son recently and Jaycee responded by joking that for many years the only thing he and his father had time to do was say hello and then get on with their busy schedules. Jaycee said that his career is very different from his father's. While Jackie started out in action films and is moving more towards drama, Jaycee has played mostly dramatic roles and is looking towards expanding his career to include different types of roles.
On April 6th Jackie was in Hangzhou at the opening ceremony of an Operation Smile hospital. Jackie, through his Jackie Chan Charitable foundation, is a long-time supporter of Operation Smile. After the opening ceremonies, Jackie toured the facility and visited with the children and their parents.
Next, Jackie will fly to the United States to begin promotion of The Forbidden Kingdom in Los Angeles, California.
