When the Hong Kong Society of Illustrators named him "Ambassador of Professional Exchange and Enhancement Programme on Creative Commercial Arts and Design in Hong Kong," Jackie agreed to support and encourage the HKSI's events, programs, and missions. Jackie is happy to do this since he realizes that it takes the talent and creativity of people in so many different fields to make our artistic world what it is today.
In the illustration above, Jackie gives the thumbs up to HKSI's "i.mission" which is a year-round project intended to help professionals within the illustration industry extend their reach to the mainland and overseas markets.

On Saturday, October 29th, the Hong Kong Society of Illustrators held an iX Creative Forum in Hong Kong. iX is the highlight of "i.mission." The forum gathered creative professionals from different disciplines including illustration, advertising, design, publishing, animation, film, digital entertainment, figure design, and toy design. They discussed key issues such as future trends, co-operation, and the positioning of illustration in relation to other creative industries in Hong Kong. Over 400 people participated in the Creative Forum!

Since Jackie was unable to attend the event but wanted to provide his support, a team of three illustrators put together an animation which Jackie provided a voice-over for. Here is a statement from the Hong Kong Society of Illustrators:

This animation is created especially by the Creativity Forum for the Hong Kong Society of Illustrators. We are very honored that Jackie Chan is our Creativity Ambassador. Three of Jackie's movies are represented in our animation:
1. Drunken Master representing creativity.
2. Police Story representing diligence.
3. Who Am I? representing international vision.

A successful movie is always supported by a group of creative people working behind the scenes. I encourage these people to go beyond Asia and enter the international world. We don't want to stay in one place, the place where we began!
