A message from Jackie from the set of The Forbidden Kingdom, which is filming in China:

When I heard about the earthquake in China, I immediately began making phone calls to see what I could do to help. Although Jet Li's One Foundation donated 100,000 RMB,  I still wanted to do more. So I called the China government to ask what they needed and they told me they needed tents and blankets. I thought about how difficult it would be for me to arrange to deliver tents and blankets from here on the set, and then I had an idea. I decided to make another donation of 100,000 RMB but this time I would do it in the name of my fans. It is my way of saying thank you to my fans for all of their help and support over the years. My fans have always supported my charities by sending in donations, and I wanted to use some of that money to help the people who have been affected by the earthquake.

I want to say thank you to my fans for all the years of support and I want them to know that some of the donations they've sent in are helping people in my country who are in desperate need.
